A little background: I'm part of a "mixed marriage" - I am of Italian descent and my wife is of Scottish descent. So we have to trade off at times. One year we'll go to Italy on vacation (which is where I get the pictures for my Italian Image of the Week web page), and the next year we go to Scotland. At least my wife readily admits that the food is better on the Italian vacations. Occasionally she'll drag me to a Scottish Highland Game, where all the Clans get together and talk about the dirty deeds one Clan did to another 400 years ago. Luckily, they're all too mellow from the Guiness & Single Malt to take out any revenge, so they just get together for athletic competitions, dancing, and bagpiping. It's a great photo op.
