Pictures of the Photographer

My web fans often say to me "how come we never see any pictures of you?" Well first, I'm the one taking most of the pictures, and second, well just look (click on any image for a larger version)...

1999 - Self portrait, Mount Hamilton, CA. Nikon F5 with 28-105 f3.5-4.5 AFD Nikkor lens on Fuji Veliva.

1998 - After 14 years and 210,000 miles with my 84 Toyota Supra, I finally decided to buy a new set of wheels. Note how careful I am not to get fingerprints on the paint. And if I hear the phrase "mid-life crisis" again, I'm gonna kill somebody. Photo © 1998 by Lynnette Fitch using a single use (aka disposable) camera. Hey, not bad at all, as good as the ones below taken with the big bucks machines. Shot in Tysons Corner, VA.

1997 - Every man's dream, a restaurant named after his best feature. Shot in Chinatown, Washington D.C. Photo © 1997 by Elmo Carawan using an Olympus OM4ti and 135 mm lens on Fuji Super G-100.

1996 - A photo of me in the surf at Cape Hatteras with my Mamiya 7, getting a photo of the famous lighthouse, and getting pounded by the surf in the process. Photo © 1996 by Elmo Carawan using an Olympus OM4ti and 135 mm lens on Fuji Super G-100.

1995 - Looking a little scruffy and plump with Italian food after two weeks in Tuscany and a little grape picking. Shot during the 1995 harvest. Photo © 1995 by Merrily Pierce using my Nikon N90 and 35-70 f2.8 AFD lens on Fuji Velvia.

1992 - At one of my favorite places, Wellfleet, Cape Cod, MA, shooting with one of my favorite cameras, my Leica M3 made in 1960. Photo © 1992 by Peggy Marshall using an Olympus Infinity camera on Kodak Ektar 100.
